What is career success?

Everyone is different on what they consider to be good career success. While one person is going for the big bucks others may be interested in being more socially active. At the end of it all, you want to pick a career that will speak to you personally in creating a meaningful and profitable life. There is a balance.
Many people who seek only the high-dollar jobs get to a point where they switch into more community-oriented positions. Others who have spent a life in social activism might want to try their hand at entrepreneurship. There is no reason that you can't decide to change what you do, if you find your present path has lost its luster or the challenge of the chase.
Seeking a new career is one of the most exhilarating processes of self-discovery that you can go on. It can be scary. It can be fun. It can be lonesome or too busy. Whatever it happens to be, it will be something that captures your attention and your drive and can lead to areas of new fulfillment for years to come.
